We are thrilled to announce a special event that you will not want to miss!
Are you an animal lover looking to make a difference in the lives of pets in need? Look no further! EarthMother Rescue & Outreach, St. Francis Animal Resource Center, Crystal Gazer's Collective, and STASH are teaming up to host a special event at Up Together Venue.
What's Happening?
Norman's 1st "Petapalooza is slated for Saturday, June 22nd from 10am to 2pm. This Pop-Up Adoption event and Maker's Market is an indoor/outdoor event at Up Together Venue (428 E. Main Street) in the EDO: East Downtown Norman. This inaugural festival seeks to educate, fundraise, and build community all in a festive atmosphere.
Sampling of what to expect:
- Browse some of Oklahoma's best makers while listening to live music and snacking on freshly made food.
- Fido's nails looking long? Bring your vaccinated and leashed furry friend for a free nail trim!!
- Kid friendly activities including FREE professional face painting and a fun "Build Your Own Cat Toy" craft!
- Enjoy live music and listen to professional speakers discuss important topics such as; "How to Great a Strange Dog" and "How to Live in Harmony with Wildlife."
- The best part, it's FREE for the whole family!
How Can You Get Involved?
There a several ways YOU can participate behind the scene - Registration form is found be below!
- Makers/Curators: Are you an artist or do you know someone who is? We have indoor *AC* spots and large outdoor spaces available! All types of artists are welcome. Booths start as low as $30. As part of our mission to raise money for two great local non-profits, we ask that each booth donate an item for a raffle basket. All proceeds will be split between EarthMother Rescue and St. Francis ARC.
- Speakers/Educators: We have a couple slots available for speakers who are passionate about animal welfare or behavior. Have wisdom to share? Come tell attendees about your organization and share what you know/love about animals!
- Volunteers: Want to earn our eternal gratitude? Sign up for a 30 minute to hour long volunteer spot! You van help us greet attendees and artists, manage the craft table, set up before the event, clean up after event, walk adoptable pets, or anything else you're comfortable helping with!
